Lateral Lining
Our Cured-In-Place-Pipe
lateral liner reconstructs 3" to 8" diameter pipes and up to 150' in length.
Access to the lateral pipe is through a small excavation or from a clean out.
Our system uses an air inversion technique in accordance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) F1216. The resin
impregnated liner tube is inverted (turned inside out) and pressed tightly against the host
pipe with a bladder until cured. When the bladder is removed the end of the liner is open
and no cutting is required.

What are the benefits
of lateral lining?
- Reduces the potential for damages to other underground utilities associated with dig and replace methods.
- Repairs damaged lateral service pipelines and restores structural capacity without extensive excavation or replacement.
- Eliminates street excavation, paving and concrete repair costs and traffic control.
- Tests prove that the original pipe flow capacity is maintained or increased after the pipe is lined, despite the minimal loss in pipe diameter.
- The liner is one continuous section of pipe, thereby eliminating joints and other sources of ground water infiltration and root intrusion.
