Pipeline Cleaning If you've ever had a sewer back up, or know someone who did, you know that it can be a major expense to repair and clean up the problem. Sewers and/or lateral connections can develope a variety of individual or multiple defects over time. Some examples are cracks, offset joints, seperated joints, back pitch conditions, deposit and scaling build-up on the pipe wall, exposed gasket material, or even major defects such as root intrusions, breaks and/or complete collapses. Sometimes one, or any combination, of these defects can cause the hydraulic characteristics of the pipeline to deteriorate either partially or entirely, depending on the defect, which ultimately costs you time and money to repair or replace. Given that information, if you are noticing back-ups or slow draining of the sewer or sump pit you may need to have your sewer or lateral connection cleaned by means of hydro-jetting, vacuuming or both, before the problem retrogrades. This "cleaning operation" goes hand in hand with close circuit televised (CCTV) inspections. Please refer to our "Pipeline Inspections" page for more details regarding CCTV.What are the benefits of Hydro-Jetting and Vacuuming?
